Eligibility Criteria & Experience Required

To be eligible for the Legal Officer position, candidates must strictly fulfill the following regional and professional criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A recognized Law Degree (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Professional Registration: Must be actively enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
• Specific Experience: A minimum of 05 years of active practice specifically before the Hon’ble Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT) or the High Court.

Salary & Additional Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a highly competitive remuneration package along with specific allowances to aid their legal duties:

• Consolidated Salary: ₹70,000/- per month
• Additional Allowances:
  • Reimbursement for telephone expenses.
  • Travel expenses coverage.
  • Allowances for stationery and xerox charges up to ₹8,000.

The selected Legal Officers will be deployed across key administrative and judicial hubs in Maharashtra, including:

• MPSC Head Office, Navi Mumbai.
• Hon’ble High Court, Mumbai.
• Administrative Tribunal (MAT) Benches at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nagpur.
