Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • Professional Registration: Must be actively registered as an Advocate with a State Bar Council under the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • Experience Requirement: A minimum of 03 years of post-qualification experience handling litigation matters in High Courts or District Courts.
  • Technical Skills: Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with high proficiency in computer operations (MS Word, Excel, Data Analytics, etc.).

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The selected Young Professional will be tasked with comprehensive case management and legal administration, including:

  • Monitoring and handling approximately 600 pending VCA-related court cases across various national forums (with 10-15 new cases added monthly).
  • Drafting, typing, and preparing complex legal documents, case files, and correspondence.
  • Managing records for cheque bounce cases and issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
  • Updating case statuses on the government’s LIMBS (Legal Information Management & Briefing System) portal.
  • Processing advocates’ fee bills and managing e-Office files for official approvals.
  • Coordinating directly with external legal representatives and downloading court orders for digital record maintenance.
