ROLE OF ASSOCIATE EDITOR:

The main role of the Associate Editor is to edit and review the projects of the Centre. The list of projects of the Centre are-

  • Women and Law 
  • India and its international relations with neighbouring countries 
  • Rights of victims, prisoners and arrested person (In light of Legal Aid) 
  • The political system in India (An overview of different political parties along with an insight into the working of the left-wing and right-wing) 
  • Integration of Indian States (History and role of nationalist leaders) 
  • Minority and Human rights in Indian states (In terms of language, culture, religion etc) 
  • Treaties and international agreements in environmental law 
  • Crime and law enforcement in Indian and international perspective 
  • Immigration, nationality and citizenship in Indian and international perspective 
  • Indigenous and cultural rights of North-East India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

·      Students who are currently enrolled in 3 years and 5-year UG Law course and willing to work for six months.

·     The student’s profile should reflect a strong interest in legal research and writing.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates having prior editorial experience or research experience. However, the same is not a pre-requisite to apply. Past Publications would play an important role in the decision-making process. At the same time, the quality will take precedence over quantity.

There is no stipend or remuneration involved.

About YIMF:

Role of a Campus Ambassador

YIMF is looking to expand its team, and thereby invites applications for the position of Campus Ambassadors. A Campus ambassador for YIMF is expected to circulate information in their respective batch groups and social media handles regarding various webinars and certificate courses that YIMF conducts in future, and rope in registrations for them.

Perks

  1. 30% commission for every registration brought by you for every event organized by YIMF, the fees of which event is not to be donated, and 15% commission for every registration brought for our certificate course shall be given to you.
  2. A certificate will be provided to you on successful completion of a minimum tenure of 6 months.
  3. At the culmination of the service period, Campus Ambassadors will be evaluated on the parameter of their work ethic and on the basis of such evaluation-
  • The top ten Campus ambassadors shall be provided with letters of Recommendation signed by the chairman of the organization.
  • The top three Campus Ambassadors shall be given certificates of appreciation.
  • The best Campus Ambassador shall be provided with a certificate mentioning the same.
  1. In addition to this, Campus Ambassadors with outstanding performances shall be offered a direct membership in the organization without them having to go through the recruitment procedure involving dual-stage interview process. 
  2. Furthermore, on exhibiting exemplary performance, a Campus ambassador may also be granted monetary bonus.

The role of a Campus Ambassador primarily entails:
