Details about the Event

Think India CNLU is organizing a National Essay Writing Competition wherein submissions are invited from school and college students from all across the country.

Topic: “What’s in a name? -Restoring names of institutions and places”

(CONTEXT – In the last few years, names of various places and institutions have been restored by the government. For example, Harigarh, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Station, etc. This has initiated a nationwide controversy.)

Call for submissions for essays with a word Limit between 1500-2000 words. The relevant data should be hyperlinked, but endnotes are also welcome.

Eligibility

School students and students of UG & PG courses can take part in the Competition.

This will be an online Essay Writing Competition.

1st PRIZE – Rs. 1200/- + Certificate of Excellence

2nd PRIZE – Rs. 1000/- + Certificate of Excellence

3rd PRIZE – Rs. 800/- + Certificate of Excellence

*Book will be given to the winners.

*The rest of the top 5 participants will be awarded a certificate of Merit.

*Also, the best essays (if found worthy enough) as decided by the Think India team, will be published on the blog of Think India.

* Participation Certificate will be provided to all the Participants.
