About LAWriter’s Hub

LAWriter’s Hub is a Virtual Legal Education and Training Hub started by a team of law students with the aim of helping fellow law students and enhance their skills. Inspired by personal experiences of difficulties as well as hard-work, we hereby owe to pass the lessons to society-at-large.

The primary motto of LAWriter’s Hub is to bring transformation in society through legal awareness. After all, what can be better than a state having all its citizens aware of their own rights and duties towards the state and other individuals!

We believe, ‘When learners unite, a whole nation arise.’  And this is the basic idea our motto suggests, which says, “Let’s write for India’s Insight.”

About Justice Diaries

Justice Diaries is the 1st National Interview Series organised by LAWriter’s Hub which aims to interact with ‘The Guardians of Justice’.

Aim: Through Justice Diaries we aim to pay tribute to the people who engage in serving Justice to Society.

Vision: We believe, Live interactive sessions with eminent personalities from legal fraternity would turn out to be very beneficial to budding lawyers. The different personal journeys of experiences of hard-work, mistakes, difficulties, break-downs, determination, and success would guide the students towards their journey from college to courtrooms. 

Additionally, here students would be able to receive guidance regarding their personal and professional difficulties from those who already went through it. The mature thoughts would be more than helpful.

Mission: Our mission is to introduce the legal arena to newbies, inspire and motivate the young enthusiasm and prepare them better for their venture via interaction with successful seniors of legal fraternity.

About the Guest Speaker:

Advocate Firdouse Qutb Wani is a live example of women empowerment. 

She is an Advocate-on-Record at Supreme Court of India, enlisted in the Forbes Legal Powerlist, 2020-2021 as one of the top individual lawyers. She is also the Additional Standing Counsel of Delhi State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) and Amicus Curie for National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission. She represents Govt. of Delhi & Delhi Wakf Board, being Panel Counsel for both the Bodies. She appears for Reserve Bank of India, before Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and Supreme Court of India in several cases of great significance. She, represents Public and Private sector Corporates across the country, before High Courts, Supreme Court of India, subordinate courts and Tribunals.

A Law Graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, she has an expertise in Commercial Litigation, Corporate Advisory, Arbitration, Land Acquisition laws, Maritime and Shipping laws, IPR litigation, Laws of Public Premises, Writs, Tender and Contract laws, Consumer Laws, Service & Education laws, Law and Medicine, Constitutional laws. She has been awarded M.K. Nawaz Memorial Gold Medal by the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi, in the year 2008 for excelling in International and National IPR Laws. She also holds a Diploma in Corporate Laws, from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

She is regular on various Televised News and Radio programmes, on issues of legal importance. She handles several legal matters concerning welfare of women and children across the Country, Pro bono. She has been sponsoring education for underprivileged children through LCZF.

She is a guest Lecturer in several Law Schools and Educational Institutions. She is a POSH expert and is an External Committee member of Internal Complaints Committee in Several Corporates. She has several publications to her name, like, “Capital Punishment Justified or not”, published in book “Death Penalty” by Mr. Janak Raj Jai, Advocate Supreme Court of India, selected by Department of Law and Justice, Parliamentary affairs, then state of Jammu and Kashmir to be part of its List of books for the Department and also by the Kerala Judicial Academy. She is member of several Organisations, working towards empowerment of Women and speaks from her heart to motivate and counsel Women to walk ahead and uplift each other.

FREE Certification Process

This is a certified event, which means after attending this interview one will be eligible to receive a certificate. To claim the certificate certain points, need to be followed:

  1. Assure attendance throughout the entire session. 
  2. Comment any 3 things you learnt in the session on the official social media platforms of LAWriter’s Hub the same day after the event ends. I.e. on 24th July, 2021 till midnight.
  3. Commenting the same on at least two platforms out of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram is required.
  4. Certificate would be delivered within a week of the event.
