Eligibility Criteria

As these positions are strictly on a deputation basis, candidates must currently be holding analogous posts in their parent cadre or department.

  • Educational Qualification: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB). A background or specialized qualification in Environmental Law is highly advantageous given the nature of the department.
  • Experience: Relevant legal experience in government regulations, drafting, and environmental statutes as per standard DCI/DoPT deputation norms.
  • Maximum Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying on deputation is 56 years as of the closing date of the application.
  • Pay Scale: Placed within the 7th CPC matrices (Level-12 to Level-4) depending on the specific post equivalence.

Selection Process

  1. Eligibility & Experience Evaluation: Scrutiny of the applicant’s service records, APARs, and vigilance clearance.
  2. Interview / Deputation Approval: Final selection by the designated competent authority.

Eligibility

Legal Assistant (Delhi Pollution Control Committee)

  • Degree in Law from a recognized university. 
  • Three years’ experience as a Legal Practitioner or one year of experience in Legal work in a Government Department.

Legal Assistant (Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board)

  • Possessing a Regular Degree in Law (entitling the incumbent for registration at the bar and appearing before the courts) from a recognized university or equivalent and 03 years’ experience at the bar.

Legal Assistant (Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs)

  • Degree in Law from a recognized university.
  •  Two years’ experience as a Legal Practitioner or one year of experience in handling Legal work in a Government Department/PSU.

Legal Assistant (Delhi Transport Corporation)

  • Graduate in Law from a recognized institution established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act, or any other institution or foreign institution approved by the Central Government. 
  • At least one year of experience working with an advocate and enrolled with the Bar Council.
  • Should have knowledge (read and write) of the Hindi Language.
