Live Law began its journey in 2013 with the mission of making legal reporting more accurate, transparent and accessible to the common man. It is our firm belief that more information about the judiciary will make it more transparent and accountable, thereby strengthening its role in a constitutional democracy. Live Law is a comprehensive legal news portal that is committed to providing accurate and honest news about legal developments.

We are guided by the values enshrined in the Preamble of the Constitution of India. We want to create more legal awareness in society by acting as a trustworthy source of accurate legal news. We also intend to act as a tool to aid legal reforms by offering a space for constructive criticism of the judiciary.
