Eligibility Criteria
As these positions are strictly on a deputation basis, candidates must currently be holding analogous posts in their parent cadre or department.
- Educational Qualification: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB). A background or specialized qualification in Environmental Law is highly advantageous given the nature of the department.
- Experience: Relevant legal experience in government regulations, drafting, and environmental statutes as per standard DCI/DoPT deputation norms.
- Maximum Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying on deputation is 56 years as of the closing date of the application.
- Pay Scale: Placed within the 7th CPC matrices (Level-12 to Level-4) depending on the specific post equivalence.
Selection Process
- Eligibility & Experience Evaluation: Scrutiny of the applicant’s service records, APARs, and vigilance clearance.
- Interview / Deputation Approval: Final selection by the designated competent authority.
