The Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Ordinance, 2020, was passed by UP Government on 28 November 2020 which is a much debated law nowadays. ⁉⁉ The ordinance makes religious conversion a cognisable and non-bailable offence inviting penalties up to 10 years.
